Overview
About Spraytech’s Spiral Nozzles – Type B9S:
Spiral Nozzles – Type B9S (also known as Pig Tail Nozzles) produce a wider spray coverage than most other varieties of full cone spray nozzle, even when used with low water pressures. Water is deflected onto a spiral-shaped surface, which then creates multiple hollow cone spray patterns. This means that the coverage is not as consistent or as uniform as it is with some of our other spray nozzles, but there are many applications where this is a desirable and necessary feature.
The droplets produced by a Spiral Nozzle are also generally smaller than other full cone nozzles, which means that the spray angle is able to be maintained regardless of the water pressure, while these smaller droplets are also able to reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
Our Spiral Nozzles are designed in one piece and with no internal vane, so there is a high flow capacity with virtually no clogging making it a spiral jet spray nozzle. This means they can be used for a variety of liquids, require a minimum of maintenance, and have a long operating life.
